Right outside my back door in Spain, an old orange tree stands, filling the air with the unmistakable fragrance of orange blossoms. Every spring, the scent lifts my spirits, carrying with it a sense of calm, warmth, and renewal. It’s one of those fragrances that wraps around you like a memory—instant comfort, a whisper of sunshine, and a little piece of nature’s magic.
A Cream Born from an Unexpected Discovery
At Herbs on the Hill, we had face creams, but no hand cream—which felt like a missing piece. With Neroli’s powerful skin benefits, I knew it would be perfect for a hand cream something light yet deeply nourishing.

Spain, the UK & My Journey with Chronic Illness
I don’t talk about it much, but I actually came to Spain for my health. I have chronic sarcoidosis, a rare condition that affects multiple organs, including both my lungs.
They told me I had five years to live. That was nearly ten years ago.
I moved because I had to—I needed a climate that would let me survive. And Spain has done that for me. I’m now five years past my “expiry date”, which I credit to this climate, this land, and the life I’ve built here.
But my entire life, my business, and my heart are in the UK. I still travel back whenever I can, but unfortunately, I often get sick as soon as I arrive and have to turn around immediately because I can’t breathe. It’s frustrating, but that’s just how it is.
